Friday 23rd June: Two Soloists, 7.30pm

Matthew Farthing was a BBC Young Musician finalist in 2014 and is currently studying Orchestral Percussion and Timpani at the Royal Academy of Music. His Music Festival appearance will feature colourful contemporary pieces for vibraphone and marimba.

Julie Luck has performed in concerts and festivals across the UK and in Europe, alongside her role as accordion tutor at Morley College. She is keen to raise awareness of the versatility of the accordion and will play an exciting selection, including works by Bach and Scarlatti, some original contemporary pieces, folk, musette and even a tango.

Advertise in the Music Festival concert programmes! We are looking for local businesses or individuals to advertise in the printed programmes for the Friday and Saturday evening concerts. We have a number of expenses to cover, including fees for the professional musicians, but after this any proceeds will go towards church funds.

In 2016, approximately 170 people attended the two evening concerts and we expect the numbers to be similar this year. If you would like to support the Music Festival by advertising in the programmes for a small fee, please contact Rachel Pickering: [email protected] or 020 8892 3749 or contact the Parish Office.
