Services
Baptism (Christening)
Baptisms can take place as a part of our Sunday 10.00am Parish Eucharist.
Baptism may also be held at 12.30 pm during a simple service lasting about 30 mins. (No more than two families at one time.)
Please talk to Mother Nicola or to one of the parish staff for more details.
Sundays at All Hallows
At All Hallows we believe that children are not just the church of the future, but importantly the church of the present. We take very seriously their role as worshipping members of our community.
Young children, therefore, are fully catered for at our main services, as follows:
10.00am Parish Eucharist
Jammy Fingers for children under 7 and JAM Club (Jesus and Me) for those a bit older.
People leave to join these groups near the beginning of the service and return in time for communion.
The children and young people then share with the congregation something of what they have been doing.
There is a crèche area available for parents with babies and very young children at the back of church.
The crèche area is discrete, with a glass screen and loudspeaker, allowing parents maximum participation without having to worry about noise levels!
10.00am Family Eucharist
On the last Sunday of each month there is a family Eucharist, where children and young people remain in the church for the whole service rather than join Jammy Fingers or Jam Club. Most months we are fortunate to be able welcome Sarah Lenton as a children’s minister to preach at these services.
11.30am Worship for All Ages
This informal service lasts just half an hour. It is easy to follow, and is very young-child friendly.
