The Tenor to 3rd were originally cast for St Dionis, Backchurch, in the City of London and were taken down and hung at All Hallows, Lombard Street in 1878. The bells were not re-installed here until 1951, when the Tenor and 8th were recast and the peal hung with new fittings and framework by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry. The original Treble and 2nd, cast by Richard Phelps in 1732, were not considered to be of the standard of the others and were replaced in 1988 by the present bells. The 1732 bells are now with St John the Baptist Church, Windsor.
