Bell Ringing
There is a long-standing tradition of bell ringing at All Hallows, which continues to the present day.
We currently have an active band of ringers, which ring the bells in the traditional English change ringing style. We ring for church service on Sunday morning between 8:45 and 9:30am.
Our practice night is Thursday, 7:45pm until 9:00pm. For the services of Evensong and Benediction (approximately once a month) we normally ring a Quarter Peal, which is organised specially. When ringing for practice we use sound control to avoid disturbing our neighbours.
Visitors are always welcome on practice nights and for Sunday morning services- please contact our Tower Captain Otto Benz for more details, or if you would like to organise a tower visit. Learners are also very welcome to attend.
Also, please contact us if you would like the bells rung for a special occasion (wedding, christening, memorial, etc.)
We are affiliated to the The Middlesex County Association and London Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers.
Our Young Bell Ringers are now practising on Tuesdays half an hour before the main practice begins. Please contact Otto Benz for more information!
