Jam Club (8-13)
Our older children aged 8 and upwards (school year 3 and above) meet during the 10.00am Eucharist on Sunday morning for JAM Club.
The young people leave the service after the first hymn and meet for songs and prayers in the Chapel, shared with the younger children from Jammy Fingers.
We then move across to the Church Hall for JAM Club’s own activities. We usually explore a Bible reading together, after which the young people have a chance to respond to what they’ve learnt through discussion, art and craft activities, quizzes, drama or games.
Jam Club rejoins the congregation towards the end of the service in time for Holy Communion and a final hymn and blessing. There is an opportunity before the end of the service for the young people to share their activities with the congregation.
